Bill McAteer CPP, ACE Owner/Principal
Bill has an extensive background in security, encompassing diverse experience in law enforcement, emergency management and security. Most recently, he served as the Strategic Business Development Manager at Evolv Technology, where he was a key member of the Growth and New Product Launch Team. In this role, Bill developed operational and sales processes for new products and managed the company’s safe city strategy. Before this role, Bill was a Senior Account Executive at Evolv Technology, where he directly engaged with customers, serving as a consultative partner to numerous key accounts, driving business and revenue growth while serving as a subject matter expert for Evolv's weapons detection system.
Prior to joining Evolv Technology, Bill had an impressive twenty-eight year career in law enforcement. He worked in corrections, courts, for a city police agency and retired as a Police Commander with the Port of Seattle Police Department. During his tenure, he held various positions, including roles at the airport, seaport, and in administration. Bill served on the Airport Council International's (ACI) Public Safety and Security Steering Committee and the Airport Law Enforcement Agencies Network (ALEAN) Board of Directors and is an active member of ASIS Tampa Chapter.
